Author Biography

Tara-Nicholle Nelson, MA, Esq. is a real estate broker and an accredited buyer’s representative. Tara’s real estate expertise is providing real estate education and services to niche markets, including single women, investors, and parties involved in legally complex transactions. Tara completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology at the California State University and graduated from Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 2001. After leaving a diverse law practice ranging from legal malpractice defense to corporate and real estate law, she began a unique real estate sales practice. Realizing that several demographic groups—single women, seniors, investors, and bilingual clients—were being underserved, Tara melded insights from her psychology background, legal and negotiating savvy, and real estate expertise to innovate a system which she has now used to coach hundreds of single women and investors to success at the endeavor of purchasing a home. Today, Tara’s passion is taking her system to women nationwide with {RE}think Real Estate, a brand of educational resources designed to transform women’s experience of real estate, and to inspire them to enhance their lives with property ownership.
