Enrollment in the Program

To sign up for the Affiliate Program follow the steps below:

Select all the formats that your company will use for advertising BuilderBooks.com from the list below (Fax, Direct Mail, Website, e-newsletters, magazine). If you choose to promote via direct mail, e-newsletter or magazine, you must include NAHB on the recipient list (unless you are mailing BuilderBooks product catalogs). At check out, the customer will be required to select how they were informed about BuilderBooks.com.

If you choose to promote through your website, you must provide the website address. Once you have been notified that site has been accepted into the program, you must use the special "tagged" link that we will send you upon completion of registration to assure proper sales report tracking. You must use this tagged link and the BuilderBooks.com logo that we will provide, to track sales from your website. If customers make a purchase at BuilderBooks.com via your website, your company will automatically be selected as the source of advertising.

Only local and state home builder associations that are affiliated with NAHB will be accepted.

Referral Fee

You will earn a 5% referral fee based on Qualifying Revenues according to referral fee schedules. "Qualifying Revenues" are revenues derived by us from our sales of Qualifying Products, excluding costs for shipping, handling, gift-wrapping, taxes, service charges, credit card processing fees, returns and bad debt.

However, referral fees for products other than books and videos, i.e. computer software, are limited to a maximum of $50 per item, regardless of the Qualifying Revenues derived from the sale of any such item.

Royalties are processed annually, and royalty checks are distributed in March of the subsequent year. However, if the royalties you earned are less than $20 for any calendar year, we will hold payment until the total amount due is at least $20. If a product that generated a royalty is returned by the customer, we will deduct the corresponding fee earnings from your next annual payment.
